Google User Data (Google Classroom Integration)

When an educator connects Google Classroom to Remee, we request the following Google account data, used only to provide the integration:

• Course names and IDs (classroom.courses.readonly) — to let the educator link a Google Classroom course to a Remee classroom.
• Class rosters: student and co-teacher names and IDs (classroom.rosters.readonly) — to provision and keep Remee classroom membership in sync.
• Student email addresses (classroom.profile.emails) — to match each student to their existing Remee account by email, or provision one.
• Coursework and student submissions (classroom.coursework.students) — to return grades earned on Remee assignments back to Google Classroom.

Remee's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the integration described above; we do not sell it, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where you provide consent. Google OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to perform the actions you authorize.
