A shadow-coated ninja must deliver a vital truce note before his rival clan triggers a war in the canyon.

High within the red rock canyon, Kuro balanced on a rusted steam pipe. The truce scrolls were tucked tight, yet the Crimson Paw clan always seemed to know his path.

The industrial hum of the pueblo masked his footsteps. Kuro spotted Marek, the rival spy, lurking near the central gears, his eyes scanning the rooftops for any movement.

Kuro knew a direct approach meant failure. He climbed the vertical masonry of the canyon walls, weaving through steam vents to bypass the spy’s line of sight entirely.

Below, Marek adjusted his crimson tunic, clearly expecting an ambush. He didn't notice the silent shadow moving across the rafters above, tracking his every calculated move.

Kuro dropped a decoy scroll into the lower steam tunnels. As Marek lunged for the bait, the real truce note remained safely pressed against the ninja’s own chest.

The path to the city council chambers was clear. Kuro sprinted across the red stone bridge, the weight of the truce note promising a future without the looming war.

But as Kuro reached for the chamber door, he realized the seal had already been broken. The note was empty. Who could have intercepted it before he even arrived?
