Tobi and the Rails of Reckoning

Tobi the mouse courier fights to deliver a document that could dismantle the powerful Cog Cartel.

Tobi gripped the strap of his satchel tight. Inside, the sealed envelope held the truth about the rail network. Tonight, he would run until the Cog Cartel was no more.

The wind whistled through the steel canyons. Tobi darted across the tracks, his heart racing. He knew the cartel's heavy patrol cars were already gaining speed on his trail.

A shadow loomed behind him. The Enforcer had caught his scent. The metallic clang of heavy machinery echoed against the tunnel walls, signaling that the chase had truly begun.

Tobi ducked into a maintenance shaft, his breath shallow. Every second spent hiding was a second closer to victory. The documents remained safe, pressed against his beating heart.

Outside the shaft, the Enforcer prowled, scanning the rails. The cartel would never stop, but neither would Tobi. He adjusted his satchel and prepared for the final sprint.

He burst back into the open. The end of the line was in sight. With a leap of faith, Tobi vaulted over a moving train, landing softly on the central terminal roof.

Tobi reached the delivery chute, but as he pulled out the envelope, he heard a click behind him. He wasn't alone. What awaited him was not the end, but a deeper mystery.
