The High Altitude Challenge

Mateo and Lani arrive at a majestic Sky Castle and face a royal challenge in the clouds.

High above the clouds, Mateo and Lani touch down at the Sky Castle. Its spires pierce the atmosphere, shimmering with an energy that feels far older than the swamp they escaped.

The gates groan open, revealing a throne room carved from solidified wind. Sitting upon it are King Zephyr and Queen Aura, their gazes as sharp as the mountain air surrounding them.

King Zephyr stands, his sapphire feathers rustling like a gale. He acknowledges their arrival, his voice sounding like the rushing wind as he demands a test of their true speed.

Queen Aura offers a challenge: to race their elite avian champions. She believes that only those who can master the shifting currents of the sky are worthy of passing through.

Mateo taps his stopwatch, checking the calibration. He knows their boards are fast, but the altitude here makes every movement heavy and unpredictable. He looks to Lani for a signal.

Lani nods, her eyes reflecting the vast, swirling clouds outside. They have navigated puzzles and swamps, and they are ready to prove their worth to the rulers of the sky.

As the starting horn blows, the royal champions emerge from the mist. But as Mateo takes off, he notices a strange, static-filled rift opening in the center of the track.
